The work of this position involves:
(1) maintaining responsibility for the definition, organization, efficacy and protection of City-owned databases,
(2) enforcing standards for use of database information and for maintaining database security, and
(3) keeping a stable and accessible computer environment for database users and applications developers.
The work is performed under general supervision of the Technical Services Supervisor or other designated supervisor, who monitors results of completed work for technical adequacy. Written guidelines are available in the form of pertinent administrative regulations and Information Technology Services (ITS) or Circuit Court standards and practices.
